IN THE PRESS: Southern Weddings Magazine + Savannah Soiree
Nicole + Nic are back at work, which means all is right in the world. It was awfully quiet without them, and my obnoxious singing was so much less exciting without their harmony. When we got back to the office we had not one, but TWO features Monday!
First is our FIRST EVER feature on Southern Weddings! We are so incredibly excited and honored to be on this blog, since it is everything southern, sweet, and oh so Savannah. This blog is all about modern weddings in the south, and focus on the true heart of a wedding - marriage. Marriage should be celebrated, honored, and of course be fun! And this shoot captures everything Southern Weddings are. From a dogwood bouquet, to fun tulle bridesmaids skirts, this shoot has it all. Photographed by Hannah Lane Photography, and styled by Mingle, this shoot featured our Candi gown by Blush by Hayley Paige with rose gold sash by Marisol Aparicio. We love how the soft blush overlay matches all of the rose accents in the shoot, like the napkins and painted chair signs. See more of this shoot up on Southern Weddings!
One of our brides was also featured on Savannah Soiree! Hillary and Brian were married last summer at First Baptist Church in Rincon with an intimate reception at Noble Fare. Hillary wore a stunning lace mermaid gown by Anais Anette, covered in beading and detail. She purchased the gown during our Anais Anette trunk show, which was exclusive to our shop. In the enchanting embrace of Savannah's historic charm, Sarah and Max's love story unfolded amidst the timeless setting at The Drayton Hotel. With Ivory & Beau orchestrating the affair as both floral designer and wedding management, their wedding became a captivating narrative of contrasts, blending the allure of modern dark, moody florals with an artistic and editorial grace that feels very ‘old Hollywood’.
On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
As the streets of Savannah prepare to paint themselves green in honor of St. Patrick's Day, there's no better time to celebrate the rich Irish heritage of our beloved city. But did you know that Ireland is also rich in wedding traditions that have been passed down for generations? Join us as we delve into the enchanting world of Irish wedding customs, perfect for couples seeking a touch of Celtic charm on their special day.
