AMBER + PAUL
We are a little behind on blogging, but don't worry, we are catching up! Amber + Paul got married last October, and are one of our favorite couples we got to work with! Amber came into the shop looking for a wedding dress, and after trying on lot's of different styles, she chose Marion by Sarah Seven. This strapless lace gown features Sarah Seven's signature corset bodice with lace ruching, and a delicate train. We LOVE her style, and she wore the coolest necklace ever that had touches of navy, her main color. We added a velvet navy sash which really showed off her tiny waist, and her hair and makeup worked perfectly.
Once Amber began planning she realized she needed some help! So she hired us for month of coordination, as well flowers, and we had SO much fun making her vision come to life! (Their wedding is even featured on our wedding's page!) She wanted her wedding to feel like a forrest of flowers and greenery, so we foraged local blooms, as well as added some soft garden roses and mums. For her table centerpieces we used mis-matched bottles we collected, and added in some milk vases for a soft cream color. Her bouquet was out of this world amazing, wait until you see it! They wanted the wedding to feel like Savannah, very soft and romantic, but a little boho and free. Rach Loves Troy did such a great job capturing their special day, and you can really see how much love Amber + Paul have for each other! We are so blessed to have worked with them!
This has to be one of our favorite first looks. To see what joy Amber has, and how nervous/excited she was to see her groom! First looks are such a great way to get your wedding jitters out of the way, and to have a moment that's just you two. Paul works in graphic design, so he created their save the dates and stationary! And they are AWESOME!
One of my favorite looks for a groom is a navy suit. It's such a modern take, and really pops in pictures! Plus Paul had awesome brown shoes, that tied in with the organic feel of their wedding. For Amber's bouquet we didn't just go big, we went huge! This is one of the largest bouquets Nicole has made, and it was stunning! A mix of foraged greenery, berries, kale, and soft garden roses. It was such a gorgeous mix of blush, ivory and green. The bridesmaids were in blush chiffon gowns, so we kept their bouquet a simple mix of greenery and kale, with a few roses thrown in for some color. They were wrapped in navy velvet to go with Amber's sash.
The ceremony took place in the patio of the Charles H Morris Center, which features red brick and wooden doors. For the backdrop we used our birch arch and draped it in eucalyptus and flowers. We love creating natural ceremony backdrops, and this is one of our favorites that we have done! Their ceremony was so sweet, and filled with so much love.
