Stephanie & Nick

Stephanie and Nick were one of the most creative couples we got to work with! They are both SCAD Alumni, and wanted to bring their family and friends back to Savannah where it all began. It wasn't just a wedding, it was a complete weekend of fun! They had a Thanksgiving dinner for those who came into town early, a Forsyth Park hangout the evening before, and tours for guests who were new to Savannah! Plus, they even had a brunch scheduled for the day after, which is such a nice way to see guests again before they leave.

Since they are living in NYC, they wanted us to help plan and organize all of their elements, as well as using our floral design (and just wait until you see the fun flowers!) They wanted to keep the wedding personal, so they had Zunzi's (their favorite Savannah food) and had an art gallery in an open space that allowed friends and family to make pieces and display them. The art gallery was hands down one of our favorite features! It was such a great way to show off so much talent, from paining, to photography, to fiber art. Her wedding dress was even handmade by a friend!

Their wedding took place at Eden Village Church, a warehouse church their friends attend. The space was large, and allowed for different rooms and environments! In one room they had an art gallery, which was filled with work by family and friends.

Stephanie's dress was made by a friend, and was so fun! It featured a striped back detail, buttons all the way down the train, and peter pan collar (that showcased her fun necklace!) We love that each bridesmaids wore patterned dresses, allowing each one to show off their personality (love the mix of polka dots, stripes, and geometric!) Nick wore a burgundy suit with a polka dot shirt, which matched their wedding colors and feel perfectly. We love when a guy does a fun suit!

The couple explored downtown Savannah for their pictures, including a SCAD favorite, Gallery Espresso. We love that each bridesmaids wore patterned dresses, allowing each one to show off their personality (love the mix of polka dots, stripes, and geometric!) Nick wore a burgundy suit with a polka dot shirt, which matched their wedding colors and feel perfectly. We love when a guy does a fun suit!
