Allison & Blake

Allison and Blake are sincerely one of the kindest and sweetest couples we have ever worked with. They were so in love, so relaxed, and so happy to get married! They wanted to keep it southern, but still have non traditional touches in their flowers and decor. Her bouquet had large garden roses and ranunculus, but had a fun touch of king protea in the center, which really made it stand out against her beaded art deco gown. We added some succulents and berries for added texture, and we loved using the protea in the bridesmaids bouquets as well!

Another one of our favorite ideas they had were anniversary cards. Placed throughout the tables were cards for milestone anniversaries, like their 1st and 25th. Guests were able to write in the cards their best wishes, for them to open down the road and read. This is such a special way to keep guests involved throughout their lives, and let the couple remember what a beautiful wedding they had.

Her wedding took place in Warren Square, with a huge ceremony arch that draped down with endless greenery. They had a laid back ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends, who all came into town for their destination wedding. Each of the bridesmaids wore mix and match gowns, and her maid-of-honor wore Inesse by Jenny Yoo, which is available at Ivory & Beau!

Their reception took place at one of our favorite restaurants, Cha Bella. They are a farm to table restaurant, that specialize in local food that tastes great. They had stations that included a mac and cheese station, and shrimp and grits seared on the spot with whatever ingredients the guests wanted! It was some of the best food we have ever had! Cha Bella has a gorgeous patio, where guests mingled and danced all night in the gorgeous Savannah weather. The tables had a combination of greenery garlands, small centerpieces, and brass candlesticks. Our favorite part? Each guest had coloring paige table placemats, with crayons and colored pencils at each table. Guests of all ages loved this, and it was so fun seeing what each person drew at the end of the night.
