It’s the very first blog of the new year, y’all, and we’re kicking off 2019 with a BANG! You may have peeped a few of the shots we’ve been sharing on our Instagram from last year’s Big Fake Wedding in Savannah, but we’ve finally gotten our hands on the whole gallery-- and oh, you guys! It turned out even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Savannah wedding vendors are some pretty magical folk, if we do say so ourselves.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about the Big Fake Wedding, we’ll give you the breakdown. The BFW is like a bridal show but BETTER. This event gives local vendors the opportunity to come together to showcase their skills in the form of well… a big, fake wedding! A real couple gets the chance to renew their vows and real brides and grooms are invited to see what wedding vendors in their city have to offer.

This year, we were so thrilled to share one of our beautiful L’amour by Calla Blanche dresses with the bride. Our favorite features of this look? That EPIC crown and romantic detachable train (which, pssst, was the very same one that Ivory & Beau owner Nicole wore on her wedding day).

Get those Pinterest boards ready, y’all. Inspired by Spanish Elegance, this delightfully rich and textured palette was the kind of wedding we dream of for our Ivory & Beau couples. The perfect balance of sophistication and fun, this summery shindig has us yearning for the return of wedding season.
