With the new year comes new trends, and we are so excited for the new styles and colors that are emerging in 2020. We have learned from reading Green Wedding Shoes, that MOHO is the word.

Moho, or ‘modern boho’, is the newest trend for 2020 weddings, and we are all about it. As you should know by now, one of Ivory & Beau’s primary styles is boho…we even renamed the month of November, Bohovember just to give us an excuse to talk about our boho dresses and our favorite boho wedding trends. So as you can imagine, we can’t wait for the moho trend to take off. Bring on all of the moho #iandbbrides!!

Okay, enough rambling, let’s talk about what ‘modern boho’ really means. According to The Wedding Academy, it is the “essence of evolving trends, both from ethereal and abstract elements.” So essentially the combination of hard and soft design elements to create a sense of delicate contemporary. You will see a lot of soft and organic textures with lace and embroidered motifs. Long sleeves will be favored because they can achieve that ethereal look more so than sleeveless, as well as ivory over nude versus all white or all ivory.
