In The Press: Glitzy Valentines on Borrowed and Blue
We LOVE weddings with color, and this one pops! Afloral reached out to florist Kristian Designs to design a wedding with fake flowers, and it turned out wonderful! They have such a great variety, in so many colors, and they look so real. We have done fake flower bouquets, and think they are a great way to have keepsake memories! Plus they are great when you want out of season flowers, like peonies in winter. For the gown, they used one of our newest Maggie Sottero gowns, Saffron. Saffron is a stunner, with off the shoulder straps, low back, and skirt detailed with lace appliques and sparkle. She is timeless and romantic, with a hint of allure. For bridesmaids, they used gowns from our Jenny Yoo collection, including our convertible gown, Annabelle. Annabelle allows you to mix and match the top options, so it can turn from strapless to one shoulder, to halter, to anything you wish! It's the perfect gown that allows each bridesmaid to pick which top they prefer, plus it comes in so many colors (and patterns!) No wonder this shoot is featured on Borrowed & Blue! In the enchanting embrace of Savannah's historic charm, Sarah and Max's love story unfolded amidst the timeless setting at The Drayton Hotel. With Ivory & Beau orchestrating the affair as both floral designer and wedding management, their wedding became a captivating narrative of contrasts, blending the allure of modern dark, moody florals with an artistic and editorial grace that feels very ‘old Hollywood’.
On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
