New Designer: Kate McDonald
We are so proud and excited to announce our newest designer: Kate McDonald! She started her line with LulaKate, her successful line of bridesmaids, and moved her way to Bridal in 2014. Based in Charleston, each gown is hand sewn in the beautiful USA, with the finest fabrics, delicate details, and endless customization options. Her gowns are a gorgeous addition to our shop, and we are so excited to get them all!
The first gown we have from Kate is McCants. A core piece of her collection, McCants has all the qualities a modern unique bride would love, while still being classic and traditional. It is timeless, and so effortlessly chic. It's a flattering a line, with low cut v neck (trust us, it's amazing on so many shapes!) and the thick waistband is so slimming. And the funnest part? It has pockets!
One way to style McCants is with classic elements, like a plantation setting and soft pastel bridesmaids. The classic ivory is flattering on all skin tones, and really makes you pop against your girls. We love this neckline with a simple strand of pearls, and you can really personalize it! How gorgeous would this be with a lace overlay for your ceremony, and then take it off for the reception! Perfect for a southern wedding!
Not feeling the traditional wedding? We love this gown for the beach! It's so lightweight, you will have no problem wearing it on a warm sunny day. To add a relaxed twist, we love a soft, romantic up-do, with soft waves and some flowers in your hair. For a second look, you can add a skirt, like the organza one shown above. It gives some light and airy movement, that you can take off for less layers during the reception.

In the enchanting embrace of Savannah's historic charm, Sarah and Max's love story unfolded amidst the timeless setting at The Drayton Hotel. With Ivory & Beau orchestrating the affair as both floral designer and wedding management, their wedding became a captivating narrative of contrasts, blending the allure of modern dark, moody florals with an artistic and editorial grace that feels very ‘old Hollywood’.
On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
