Fallen Trees, Maggie Sottero & Jenny Yoo

What do you do when Hurricane Matthew wreaks havoc on your city and then you're out hundreds of dollars worth of blooms from a postponed wedding? Have mini photo shoots and flower playtime of course..... We love love love these photos by Apt B Photography of Michelle Royal and Lauren Kitchens from Royal Makeup & Hair rocking one of our Maggie Sottero dresses and a Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress. Oh and the fallen trees in Forsyth Park were pretty unreal too... Also, just a quick note, we want to send well wishes to anybody in Savannah who had damages after the storm. We hope that you are doing alright and that your pets and loved ones walked away from the storm unharmed !!

We actually did a few mini shoots, each one with florals a little bit different. For this one, McKenzie made a freaking huge-mongous amazing flower crown that had a tropical feel to it and I put together a bouquet with some bright fun pops. Scroll down to see all the fun prettiness!!!!

How absolutely stunning is Michelle!?! And can more brides please wear ginormous flower crowns like this one? I know I sure will be wearing one like this on my wedding day, they're so fun!!!! And my personal favorite is pairing a flower crown with a veil... it's like the perfect tradition meets bohemian goddess look and I just love love love it.

Oh yeah, I made that veil fly real good. Took like probably 20 takes and I think I even worked up a sweat running back and forth throwing it in the air but it was so worth it. Jaclyn Jordan's horsehair veil is probably my favorite veil in the shop and it was perfect!!

The Fredricka gown is a light gold shade and looked gorgeous with the pale green floral print. I swear this combo is made for each other it just looks so perfect together. The Jenny Yoo style is a convertible style as well so you can have all your girls in the same dress but not the same dress at the same time. You can have it one-shoulder, halter, both shoulders, switch swatch, criss cross, bling blang whatever you want. So many options I can't even think of all of them. Hmm, maybe at the shop one day we will have a competition to see which of us can think of the most styles.......
