HIDE & BEAU SEEK: Auburn by Maggie Sottero & Leopold's on Broughton
We are so excited about the new mini #hideandbeauseek we will be doing every other week over the next few months to showcase our newest dresses little by little around iconic Savannah locations!! For our very first one we enlisted the help of our planner & bridal stylist, McKenzie, to rock one of our new Maggie Sottero gowns with our photographer friend Daniel Eastwood at one of our favorite Savannah places... Leopold's of course.
So what is the point of #hideandbeauseek? Well, there are 3 main purposes and goals we have behind this series of mini shoots:
1. Share our newest wedding dress styles with y'all in an organic way that shows that all brides are beautiful in their own skin. We were inspired by other big brand campaigns that focus on being your own kind of beautiful. We will be looking for ladies sizes up to 16 to model for us. Hair & makeup will not be provided because this is about rocking who you are and being beautiful just the way you are. **On that note, we are getting plus size gowns very soon and are very excited about this addition to Ivory & Beau!!! Stay tuned for more...
2. Show off Savannah in all its glory! I fell in love with Savannah immediately when visiting in 2011 and for so many of our followers who aren't from Savannah we want to show it off. There are so many historic sites and iconic places in Savannah that we want to share with our followers because Savannah is not just our home but also its Ivory & Beau's home. We think this will be a fun way to share some of the coolest parts of Savannah with all of our non-Savannah followers out there!
3. Last of course there's a giveaway!!!! Each #hideandbeauseek shoot we are at we will be posting hints & clues on our snapchat (@ivoryandbeau) and IG story as to where in the Savannah world is Ivory & Beau? Think back to those days of being in elementary school and playing Carmen Sandiego on an old school desktop computer... I know it wasn't just me who loved that game!!!! We wanted a fun way to not only share our dresses with y'all but also to make it a fun game and a fun way for our brides to win something! So... it's super easy, all you have to do is follow us on snapchat & IG and if you think you know where we are you can message us your guess. If you are right you will be entered to win $300 off your wedding dress. Also, if you aren't a bride yet but have a friend who is engaged feel free to enter for her! We hope this is as fun for y'all as it will be for us!!
And now... let's get on with the pretty pictures!!!! And be sure to follow Daniel Eastwood & Leopold's on Instagram for some gorgeous photography and some seriously mouth watering treats...
If you live in Savannah or have visited and haven't gone to Leopold's you must add this to your bucket list immediately. Located on Broughton Street, this ice creamery has some amazingly delicious ice cream. My favorites include Cotton Candy and their Lavender ice cream is just wonderful. I also would highly recommend a double scoop of their Lavender with anything Chocolate... that is what I got during this shoot and it was ooooooh-sooooooo-yummy.
Maggie Sottero is our newest designer we have added to Ivory & Beau and we are beyond in love with all of her styles. Effortless, chic, romantic, timeless, beautiful. Auburn is one of those styles for the fun bride who is playful, girly, and fun. The skirt with its fun layers of soft organza make for a very playful whimsical gown.
I just love Daniel Eastwood's use of lighting to capture McKenzie. She looks absolutely stunning. And since Leopold's is right next to this awesome SCAD sign we had to capture some fun ones of her in front of it as well. McKenzie does sass like none other. Under the sass captured on camera though was so much laughter and so much fun!!!! If you are wanting to follow along with the fun be sure to follow us on social media!! And if interested in being a model for one of our shoots you can contact us at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com!

Thank you so much to McKenzie and Daniel for helping us with our first mini shoot!!! And we can't wait to share more in the next few weeks!!! Xoxoxo, n
