IN THE PRESS: Trendy Bride & a Magazine Cover

Cannot begin to describe how exciting it is that one of our Sarah Seven dresses made the cover of Trendy Bride Magazine!!!! We get approached all the time by photographers, florists, event designers, you name it who are wanting to borrow a dress from our shop for editorials and we often don't have a clue what the end product will be. But I must say I am in love with this olive inspired editorial by Julie Dodds of Willow Floral photographed by Olivia Griffin. The funny part is that this shoot took place almost a year ago and we had almost forgotten about it, so you can just imagine how surprised we were when I got on Instagram a few weeks ago and we were tagged in the cover shot of this magazine. Beyond ecstatic!

The shoot that these creative professionals dreamed up was inspired by green velvet. And I must say I love the use of the green velvet cape with the dress. The mixture of silver sequins with the soft fabric makes for a stunning bridal look. The bride's hair and makeup was done by Katie of Cotton Rouge, who gave her a very soft and romantic look paired with jewelry from Spectrum Art JewelryOlivia de Soria and Eidel Precious. Which I just have to say, if you are a bride looking for the perfect sapphire engagement ring in rose gold, peach, pink or blue in unique shapes and designs then I would highly recommend checking out Eidel Precious because I am slightly obsessed with these fantastic rings.

The tablescape designed by Willow Florals was elegant and contemporary. My favorite part has to be those seriously tall tapered candles. I always feel as though the perfect centerpiece that is most visually appealing is one with florals and decors of varying heights and textures that can't help but draw your eyes in. Last but not least I love the petite pale green cake covered in berries. I've never been a huge cake person but the combination of cake with fruit is delightful.

Anyway, huge thank you to all of the vendors who made this editorial such a success and huge thank you to Julie Dodd for thinking of us and borrowing a dress from us!
