Chelsea + Chaz

We are finally back to blogging! We took a month long hiatus during our craziest wedding season yet! 7 Weddings this month, plus Bridal Market! It was hectic, but so much fun!

We are so happy to share one of our sweetest weddings this year, Chelsea + Chaz! We got to help this amazing couple plan, and do their flowers! They wanted their wedding to be romantic, laid back, and fun filled. They chose the Roundhouse Railroad Museum, one of our favorite venues here in Savannah! There are so many themes you can do at the Roundhouse, from rustic and southern, to soft and elegant. Chelsea chose a color palate of soft blushes, ivory, and gray, which were striking against the historic brickwork of the blacksmith shop and gardens. We got to work with some amazing vendors, like Rach Loves Troy, All About You, Beyond Beautiful by Heather, and so many others! Scroll through to see this gorgeous wedding!

When it came to her flowers, Chelsea wanted a variety of flowers, and really loved gerber daisies! So we created a bouquet complete with daisies, anemones, succulents and baby's breath. The pop of colors went perfect with her classic lace mermaid gown, and long tulle train. Chelsea is breathtaking, so Heather of Beyond Beautiful by Heather did a natural look, with a slightly smokey eye, and soft up-do.

For her bridesmaids, we created daisy bouquets, and they went perfect with their blush chiffon gowns. The groomsmen wore gray suits, with matching pink ties and daisy boutonniere's.

They had both their ceremony + reception in the blacksmith shop, a gorgeous space lined with brick, and features a large vaulted ceiling. They wanted their ceremony backdrop to be a wall of lights, and we LOVED the look! It added such a gorgeous glow to the room, and ended up being the perfect setting for their vows.

Chelsea and Chaz did their first pictures around the grounds at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum, which has so many places to explore! They have vintage trains, which make such a fun place for pictures, and their grounds feature brick walls, well manicured lawns, and even a giant smokestack!

The wall of lights worked perfect as the ceremony backdrop, as well as the DJ backdrop during the reception! For their centerpieces, they wanted to keep the look simple and elegant, with the focus being on the gorgeous wooden tables available at The Roundhouse. They had lace runners, with lanterns surrounded by soft flowers, succulents, and milk vases.
