The Beauty of Brunch Weddings
Ft. Emily & Paul’s Real Wedding with Management & Florals by Ivory & Beau
When it comes to planning your dream wedding, the options are endless. From traditional evening affairs to intimate elopements, couples today have the freedom to tailor their celebration to reflect their unique style and preferences. One emerging trend that has gained popularity in recent years is the intimate brunch wedding. Combining the elegance of a wedding with the relaxed atmosphere of a brunch, this alternative approach to tying the knot offers numerous benefits that couples shouldn't overlook. In this blog post, we'll explore compelling reasons why a brunch wedding might be the perfect choice for your special day.
Seize The Day!
One of the biggest reason we’re seeing couples opt for an intimate brunch wedding is it means you can make the most the day! With an earlier ceremony time and brunch-style reception, it leaves the rest of the day to spend quality time with your closest family & friends, reliving key moments of the ceremony, before partying the night away! So if you're planning an outdoor garden or courtyard brunch wedding, you’re setting the stage for a full day of unforgettable memories.
Here are Emily’s highlights of their Unique Brunch Wedding in Savannah:
“I 10/10 recommend having a brunch wedding so you can maximize quality time with your groom throughout the entire day (instead of seeing him for the first time at 4-5 pm that day).
“The bridesmaids and I got ourselves ready SUPER quick that morning. The ceremony started at 10:30am, then we surprised our guests with the trolleys with to-go drinks for cocktail hour, and welcomed them back for brunch - mimosas and Bloody Mary’s included. We aren't big dancers, so having acoustic music in the garden air of the Harper Fowlkes House was perfect for us; we opted for a string trio so it was about as 'Bridgerton' as you could get.
“After our bubble exit, the party continued at the Pendant Rooftop bar (at the Drayton Hotel). We drank, we laughed, and got to debrief the ceremony and reception with our closest friends. It was so special to have them all willing to meet us back out for that after leaving the reception. Paul and I had a private dinner together at Husk - absolutely incredible. Then, our friends met us back out AGAIN at the bars for nightlife. It made for a long day, but the exhaustion was absolutely worth it. You always hear people say the day flies by but this one lasted forever!”

Emily’s thoughts on her amazing team of Vendors:
“Our photographer, Peyton, and videographers, Jason and Casey, were an absolute dream team and captured the entire day perfectly. They were like flies on the wall which is exactly what we asked for.
“Our coordinator, Claire, was our biggest fan and really helped us stay on track throughout the whole planning process. She was a rockstar the day-of and was ready to tackle any task thrown her way. The day really was everything we could have ever dreamed of.
“Oh and florals were a DREAM, even better than any Pinterest board out there!”
From Claire, the Lead Planner:
“Collaborating with Emily and Paul to orchestrate their enchanting brunch wedding in Savannah was truly a delight. Their choice to blend elegance with the laid-back vibe of a morning celebration made for a day brimming with cherished moments and seamless transitions, culminating in a day they'll remember forever.”
