Ivory & Beau Couple + Florals: Maddy + Sean
Here’s an Ivory & Beau couple that just can’t help but bring a smile to your face! Every little detail of MADDY + SEAN’S quirky Savannah wedding was packed with personality– a wedding planner’s DREAM. If funky, modern, vibrant weddings are your vibe, you’re in the right place (and if they’re not… well, stick around. We’ve got a feeling these two might just change your mind).
Normally when our wedding planning clients come to us looking for a color wedding, they’re after trendy terracotta, blue, or blush palettes. When Maddy + Sean began working with our Savannah wedding planning team, however, they were after something different. Boy, were we excited to deliver! These two were the perfect blend of rock’n’roll and disco dreams, and so was their wedding.
We know what you’re thinking: orange and blue? How on EARTH did you make that color combo work? Turns out it’s pretty darn easy when the arrangements are THIS fun. Alternative weddings are kind of our bread and butter, after all. Our Savannah florist brought all of the colors of the sunset together with some BRIGHT blue baby’s breath for a wedding arch that made an impact. This Forsyth Park ceremony was one for the books!
Gosh, you guys. We’re never going to get over how fun Maddy + Sean are. Naturally these two chose one of our favorite Savannah restaurants for their laid back reception: the Wyld Dock Bar! Not only is the food delicious, but the vibes are IMMACULATE. These two rocked up to their reception in style in a chartered boat. Woven rattan pendants, greenery garlands, and disco balls have been a BIG hit with our wedding planning and floral clients this year, and to be honest, we’re hoping this trend NEVER dies.
PS: how awesome is their lounge setup? This uber considerate couple rented a set of chic rattan loungers and chairs to give their guests a chance to relax. Quite a few of their wedding party was expecting and they raved about how nice it was to have a comfy place to kick back and enjoy the party!
Give it up for one of the coolest Ivory & Beau couples we’ve worked with to date! Congratulations again, Maddy + Sean– you two are truly a delight!!
