Ivory & Beau Couple: Danielle & Travis

If we had to choose a wedding from the past year that gave off the most ~Savannah~ vibes, we’d have to nominate Ivory & Beau Couple Danielle & Travis’ big day. These two sweethearts melted our hearts from the moment we met them, and looking at these marvelous pictures by Apt. B Photography, it isn’t hard to see why… they are just so in love!

Before meeting up for their first look, Danielle and Travis got ready with their respective gangs at the Whitman and Hotel Indigo-- two of Savannah’s coolest hotels! One of Savannah’s iconic tour trolleys met the couple to chauffeur them around to all of the city’s best locations for their portraits. The historic downtown district makes for some pretty breathtaking shots, don’t you think?

How fun are these eye-catching florals? We love when our Ivory & Beau couples decide to go with unusual color palettes on their big day. For Danielle’s bouquet, we combined blooms ranging from burgundy and red all the way to purple. Soft white florals and lush greenery gave this arrangement the bridal edge that every girl dreams of on her wedding day. We’re obsessed!

Forsyth Park is hands down one of the most romantic (not to mention historic) places in Savannah to exchange vows. Did you know that back in the day, anybody who was somebody in the city used to dress in their Sunday best and head to Forsyth Park for their portraits? How neat that Danielle and Travis chose to continue the tradition on their own wedding day!

After officially tying the knot, Danielle and Travis whisked their guests off to the Whitman for a truly magical reception. You guys, can we just pause a minute to RAVE about their buffet? The only thing better than a classic southern meal of pulled pork, collard greens, and mac and cheese is a classic southern meal sat at a table full of blooms!
