Helen & Tom
Sometimes you have couples that have hearts of gold. Helen and Tom were hands down one of our kindest couples we have worked with. Helen wanted a wedding that honored her southern roots, as well as his Australian roots, and their shared life in NYC. They wanted a mix of modern decor with a rustic, Savannah feel, which made the Georgia State Railroad Museum the perfect space. The Roundhouse has both an industrial feel with the various trains and vintage equipment, but still has a rustic vibe with the large brick walls.
The reception decor was focused on being soft and natural, and we combined various vases, trophy cups, and clear glasses to create a mix-matched table scape. Light greenery lined the tables, with mercury candles throughout. Cafe lights were draped across the high ceilings for extra lighting, and the guests danced the night away! It was such a fun crowd, who made sure to have a party! We loved being able to help them plan, as well as create some of our favorite bouquets and flowers we have ever done! Seriously, Helen's bouquet is dream!
Helen chose us for Day of Coordination, as well as flowers. We love creating flower arrangements and bouquets that have a punch of color, and unique elements! She wanted them to be textured and girly, with various pinks and blush's, but not muted colors. She wanted bold! We chose garden roses and peonies for color and femininity, magnolia leaves for a touch of southern, hanging ivy for some drape, and astilbe for texture. They didn't have a bridal party, so she had the mothers carry small posies, an idea we love!
They chose to get married in front of the smoke stack outside, which was the first time we have done this set up! We loved it, and thought it was such a great focal point. They hung cafe lights from the reception space to the smoke stack which added ambient lighting for the cocktail hour.

In the enchanting embrace of Savannah's historic charm, Sarah and Max's love story unfolded amidst the timeless setting at The Drayton Hotel. With Ivory & Beau orchestrating the affair as both floral designer and wedding management, their wedding became a captivating narrative of contrasts, blending the allure of modern dark, moody florals with an artistic and editorial grace that feels very ‘old Hollywood’.
On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
As the streets of Savannah prepare to paint themselves green in honor of St. Patrick's Day, there's no better time to celebrate the rich Irish heritage of our beloved city. But did you know that Ireland is also rich in wedding traditions that have been passed down for generations? Join us as we delve into the enchanting world of Irish wedding customs, perfect for couples seeking a touch of Celtic charm on their special day.
