Our Daughters of Simone dresses were featured on the website, Venuelust, at a shoot at a venue we are definitely lusting over.... Musgrove Plantation is a hidden estate behind hundreds of trees along Village Creek. Just to get to the hidden gem you have to drive down a 3-mile winding driveway. You had me at... horse. But really, how beautiful is that horse? Oh and not to mention our Daughters of Simone gowns. While the gowns have a very bohemian style, they still have a timeless elegance to them that fit so well with this shoot surrounded by the epitome of Southern romance and trees.
That veil though. I am so obsessed and in love. The more fluff the better if you ask me. And does she not look seriously fierce? I love how while she has a very put together romantic feel, she alludes a modern chicness. Emily Burton's vision for the shoot was Beyonce meets Scarlett O'Hara, "old worlds and New Worlds Colliding."
The shoot's color palette was yellow on yellow on yellow lemonade. Love this tea cart with all the yellow pastries and bite-size dessert. A modern day spin on a Vintage Bridal Tea Party. Umm lemonade and treats? Yes, please. So perfect for a Southern wedding.
And we thought we loved the shoot but then when we saw that the girls were in ... the ... tree .... ***jaw down ...... mic drop .......... leave the stage*** Okay so but really. How freaking amazing are the images below!? They literally make me feel like we are in the Amazon rainforest and it's just magic and magic and more more magic. We love love love love love!!!!!! Daughters of Simone goes to the rainforest, yes please.
