Ivory & Beau Florals: Maddie + Austin
Nestled just outside Savannah, Georgia, in Rincon, the venue Chateau 1800 offers an enchanting escape that gives guests the feeling like they’ve been transported into the heart of Italy. With its picturesque setting, the venue feels like stepping into a timeless European countryside, where the beauty of the surroundings blends seamlessly with its charming atmosphere. The tall, slender trees that line the front of the venue create a breathtaking, almost otherworldly landscape, evoking the iconic vistas of the Italian countryside. Maddie + Austin’s wedding set here at Chateau 1800's serene environment with its picturesque views was a truly magical wedding, where the elegance of Italy meets the Southern charm of Georgia and this adorable could who tied the knot.
When Maddie and Austin first reached out to us, they envisioned a wedding that was natural, organic, and subtly modern—highlighting whites and simplicity. Their floral preferences included soft, timeless blooms like baby’s breath, hydrangeas, and white roses, with a desire to avoid vibrant colors. Their main goal was to let the beauty of Chateau 1800 shine without the flowers overshadowing the venue’s stunning surroundings.
One of their top requests was a baby’s breath arch, and thankfully, the weather cooperated, allowing them to exchange vows by the serene lake!! The soft, airy baby’s breath against the natural backdrop was nothing short of breathtaking, perfectly bringing their vision of simple modern elegance to life.
Another important element to the couple was ensuring the guests could easily mingle and so having shorter centerpieces was a priority. We aligned the rectangular guest tables with garlands of baby’s breath and the round tables had clouds of baby’s breath. Classic elegant table numbers completed the look perfectly.
