IN THE PRESS: Burnett's Board - Naturally Beautiful Wedding Dresses

Our Bridal Lookbook 2.0 is up on Burnett's Boards today!!! This year we did our lookbook at Ships of the Sea Museum. We loved the space with its blooming gardens and edgy modern architectural spaces. Laura Fulmer captured each dress so beautifully. Our Bridal Lookbook 1.0 made it on Burnett's Boards about a year ago and was much more bold and funky whereas this year we went for girly, boho and glam. Michelle Royal gave each girl their own look: Savannah - girly, elegant and timeless; McKenzie - bohemian, natural and earthy; Keeli - sexy, glamorous and dramatic. The dresses were accessorized with jewelry from Chloe + Isabel

It was so exciting to be doing our 2nd lookbook... it felt like a small milestone. We made it to year 2 and this was our chance to again show off our newest dresses that we have added to Ivory + Beau. When we first opened we only carried 4 dress designers and had around 30 dresses and now we carry 8 designers and almost 100 dresses. It's crazy how quickly we have grown and yet we still are so excited every time we get more new dresses in. And of course we are counting down the days until Bridal Market this October where we will meet with our current designers and more to pick even more dresses to add to our shop.

Sometimes you just have to get a little bit wild with flowers and that was definitely my inspiration when putting together this bouquet. It's not everyday you get to create a fluffy and poky bouquet like this one so it was fun to get to be able to do whatever I wanted. Also, can I say I am kind of obsessed with the idea of having a flower necklace for your wedding day? Not that you have to wear it for all pictures but seriously just for a few. And the bold silver bling necklace shown with this Sarah Seven gown is maybe my favorite piece of jewelry that we used for the shoot. I love a good statement necklace that is bold and chunky.

Quite possibly the dress in our shop that I could envision myself wearing on my wedding day has to be this Blush by Hayley Paige mermaid gown... now if only it were blush. I am obsessed with body hugging dresses with ba-bam drama bottoms. Oh, and don't even get me started on horsehair. I love horsehair. And saying a lot is an understatement of sorts.

Huge thank you to everybody who helped with this shoot and even huger thank you to Sara for featuring our Bridal Lookbook for the 2nd year in a row!!!! Head over to our Bridal Lookbook 2.0 on our website too to see all the images captured by Laura!

Which dress is your favorite? And what style bride are you? The bohemian bride who is comfortable and carefree? The girly romantic bride who wants big curls and pretty makeup? Or the glam bride who wants bling bling and bold dramatic makeup? Me? Probably a little bit of a mixture between bohemian and glam. Adrienna? Girly girly girly. Nic? I'd say a mixture of girly with glam. Baby McKenzie? Bohemian mermaid all the way errrrr day. x, n
