May has long since come and gone, but who could forget all the glitz and glam of the most recent royal wedding? While there may have been some mixed feelings about Meghan’s choice of attire for the evening (the I&B team was especially divided on the matter), there’s no denying that Meghan made one beautiful-- not to mention trendy-- bride. 

Her simple updo and conservative makeup placed all the focus on her natural beauty. And come on, with a smile that radiant, can you blame her? Make a royal statement on your wedding day by keeping things light and airy. Let those freckles peek through beneath your foundation! A neutral eye is best paired with a pop of pink for your lipstick. You could easily glam this look up by smoking out the eye makeup and adding some lashes, if that’s more your style! 

Highlighter on Fleek

This bridal trend shows no signs of slowing down any time soon! Dewy skin is in. Don’t be afraid to boost your bridal glow with a little highlighter! Just bear in mind that you don’t want to look like an oil slick in your pictures, so it’s all about balance. Avoid products with big sparkles and stick to a more subtle cream or fine powder highlight. Play with tones to see which shade matches your skin JUST right! 

High Drama Mama

So far, we’ve kept things sweet and simple, but we see you, glam brides. Your wedding day is the perfect time to rock that high-drama look you’ve been coveting! Balance a bold smokey eye with a neutral lip, or layer on the lashes and bust out that hot pink lip you love so much. Don’t worry about anything being “too much.” We assure you-- there’s no such thing as being too much on your wedding day.

You can curl your hair for added texture or keep things sleek and sexy. You can even tie a length of ribbon around it or add in some sparkly clips! The possibilities are truly endless.
