Down for the Gown + Florals: Addie & Jordan
Addie said yes to the dress then chose us to help out with her wedding flowers! The dress Addie fell in love with was a Rebecca Ingram by Maggie Sottero gown. It had a sheer bodice with beautiful beaded lace detail, small spaghetti straps and a soft tulle skirt with lots of tulle layers. She had the train removed for a more easy-to-dance in style. This dress is so romantic and was perfect for her wedding at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel.
The color palette for her wedding flowers included ivories, merlots, burgundies, sage greenery, blushes and pops of navy blue. Her cascading bridal bouquet had big fluffy roses, dahlias, ranunculus, wax flower, garden roses, thistle and a few varieties of eucalyptus. I am so in love with Addie’s romantic loose updo and soft boho bridal braid to complete her look. Also, I think we need to take a moment here to appreciate this rad jean jacket. I would like to have this every day for my life. Her bridal jean jacket featured fun rhinestone fringes. Also, a woman after my own heart drinking White Claw on her wedding day!!
Some of my other favorite details from Addie & Jordan’s wedding day include the gold leaf wedding cake that we added some flowers to, the flowergirl crown, the alternating centerpieces with some low- gold compote centerpieces with lots of jewel tones and rose varieties and some high- candelabra centerpieces with lots of flowers and definitely the fact that the groom did the worm during the garter toss!!
You cannot go wrong choosing the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel for your Savannah Wedding or I guess… Tybee Wedding. This venue was in the movie, The Last Song, with Miley Cyrus and is seriously one of the most gorgeous wedding venues near the beach in Savannah / Tybee area. There are 2 floors to this wedding venue — the top features a beautiful chapel and the bottom is the reception ballroom space. Additionally, the venue has a large porch / deck and outdoor space, which makes this Savannah wedding venue perfect for having cocktail hours outside and a food truck wedding… yes please! Some other fun details about this venue that were highlighted on the Venue Report, include how this beautiful space features 3 one-of-a-kind 5’ wide chandeliers and custom hard wood flooring. There’s a baby grand piano in the Chapel, which is perfect for a live pianist playing beautiful songs while you walk down the aisle.
