Ivory & Beau Wedding & Florals: Kara & Spencer
Kara & Spencer had an elegant, romantic wedding with a ceremony in Forsyth Park, followed by a reception at The American Legion in Savannah, GA. One of our lead wedding planners, Megan, coordinated their special day, and we also got to create magic with their florals.
With a color palette of ivory, blush, burgundy & green, we used a variety of rich, bold blooms & greenery for their arrangements. For Kara’s bouquet, she wanted a medium, organic arrangement with a variety of sultry blooms with dark greenery. The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller, hand-gathered versions of her bouquet with less bloom variety. The boutonnieres contained small ivory & burgundy blooms with sprigs of greenery, with Spencer’s being the largest.
For the ceremony backdrop, we created two large arrangements placed on top of two white pillars framing either side of the altar with the Forsyth Fountain being the main focal point. At the reception, the round guest tables alternated between tall gold vases with pampas grass and loose blooms in bud vases with tea lights, and the banquet tables featured long greenery garlands with tapered candles.
A huge thank you to Kara & Spencer for choosing I&B to be apart of their wedding day, and we wish them both the best life together!
