Ivory & Beau Bride, Wedding & Florals: Melissa & Daniel
Our #iandbbride Melissa was the most radiant bride in her Sottero & Midgley gown - a sexy & flattering crepe sheath wedding dress. With a plunging v-neckline, sheer sequin lace bodice, lace appliqués on the back & an illusion lace train, this dress was perfect for her rustic venue, Soho South, in Savannah, Georgia. Not only did she say “yes” to her perfect dress at Ivory & Beau, we also had the honor of coordinating & creating the florals for Melissa & Daniel’s special day. The vision for their wedding was romantic & simplistic with a hint of boho.
With shades of desert & dusty rose, sage green, tan & gold tones, we used carnations, ranunculus, anemone, a variety of roses & tons of greenery for their arrangements. For Melissa’s bridal bouquet she wanted a medium-sized organic & whimsical arrangement with a ton of blooms incorporating pops of darker rose tones in addition to the neutrals, mixing in some greenery. The bridesmaids bouquets were smaller versions of her bouquet with fewer blooms. Daniel’s boutonniere had a single peach bloom backed by greenery. They opted out of a floral ceremony backdrop, using only the elements of the venue space. The aisle markers were luscious garlands lining each side of the aisle with eucalyptus & scattered hurricane candles. The sweetheart table contained a garland with a ton of blooms & greenery, and the reception tables had more garland but with less blooms, and scattered tea lights & hurricane candles.
