Adios to an Ivory & Beau Team Member: Brisa Colaizzi
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brisa Colaizzi and I am the culprit behind a lot of the blogs you see here on the Ivory & Beau website, those weekly update blogs that say a lot of the same information over and over again? Yep, those were me, along with some other grade A content like how to incorporate your dog into your wedding or 20 things not to do before your wedding day.
ANYWHO
This blog marks my very last blog that I will ever write for Ivory & Beau, and while I was going to pull an ol’ Irish goodbye and just see myself quietly I figured I would come on here and say adios to the blog in the most appropriate way I know how to: with a blog (how poetic).
I suppose I will do this acceptance speech style (in both its content and brevity) and just thank a few people because that was the first idea I had.
Thank you Emily for always taking whichever Buzzfeed quiz I ask of you and allowing me to hop on your Postmates orders.
Thank you Lindsay for tolerating my soft signing next to you when a song I like comes on at the shop.
Thank you to all of the other girls at the shop that put a smile on their face when they didn’t feel like being on our YouTube channel (32 subscribers strong) but did it anyways so that I had content to post.
And finally,
Thank you Nicole. From forgetting to call me back during my phone interview for the internship to allowing me to babysit (and fall in love with) your dog Rex while you were on vacation. In all seriousness, thank you, because if it wasn’t for you taking a chance on me I don’t know if I would’ve ever pushed myself to make this move to Savannah that has taught me SO much about life and myself. I appreciate you and all that you have done for me and I do admire your work ethic, as crazy and hard to follow as it may be sometimes.
Thank you all for everything, I am happy to have gotten to spend one weird, funny, challenging, interesting, wild year with you guys.
