Ivory & Beau Bride: Makayla
So, on today’s Ivory & Beau Bride blog post, we’re bringing you alllll the classic Southern wedding vibes. Makayla and Wil’s wedding at the end of March was so perfect and filled with so many unique details to make their ceremony and reception theirs. Keep scrolling to see picture overload!
Makayla chose a fitted Made with Love gown, but decided to personalize her look even further by adding the Nessy skirt (Blush by Hayley Paige) on top! We love that her gown ended up being completely unique to her, as it added such a fun touch to her pictures. This way, you also only buy one gown but have two completely different looks! We have tons of styles that would look gorgeous styled similarly, so please ask us if that’s something you’re interested in!
The details Makayla and Will chose were so special, from the monogrammed pajamas for getting ready, to the socks for the bridal party with their faces on it (OBSESSED!!), and even down to the huge wheelbarrow of peanuts at their ceremony!
Now, I know you’ve seen so many pictures from this wedding already, buuuut I couldn’t resist adding in all of these reception shots!! Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely insane and perfect down to every last detail. If you can’t tell, I’m obsessed! Makayla and Wil had a charcuterie board, a low country boil, shrimp & grits board, and even a cookie cake to add to their desserts selection!
Congratulations, Makayla and Wil! We know your wedding was just as beautiful as the bond you two share, and are wishing you all the best in your life together!
In the enchanting embrace of Savannah's historic charm, Sarah and Max's love story unfolded amidst the timeless setting at The Drayton Hotel. With Ivory & Beau orchestrating the affair as both floral designer and wedding management, their wedding became a captivating narrative of contrasts, blending the allure of modern dark, moody florals with an artistic and editorial grace that feels very ‘old Hollywood’.
On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
