Starland Yard Styled Shoot ft. in Hey Wedding Lady
Our styled shoot at Starland Yard was featured on Hey Wedding Lady! With a mixture of bohemian festival vibes and classic retro, this has been our favorite styled shoot to be apart of. With Starland Yard primarily being a social spot for eating, drinking & playing games, we wanted to show it in a different light a.k.a. an epic wedding venue. There are so many colorful & trendy backdrops to work with created by local Savannah artists, making it authentic and unique. With a bright & vibrant color scheme of dusty blue, fuscia, bright oranges, ivory & green, we created florals that allowed the space to bloom. Featuring our Clementine by Willowby wedding dress, a big luscious flower crown was the way to go for the bride. For the groom, his styling was a little more western boho, with a bandana around his neck, an open vintage vest and denim paired with brown boots, and of course a boutonniere to match her crown.
The ceremony was set up on the second story platform that is typically covered with tables, high tops and corn hole, and was completely transformed into a ceremony space with a killer view and a rainbow arch made of baby’s breath. When it came to the reception, having a mobile bar was a must. Fete Chalet served up a cotton candy frozen masterpiece which was extremely Insta-worthy. At Ivory & Beau we are allllll about having your pets at your wedding, in fact, we insist. Louis the Chihuahua was the cutest accessory for our bride, with a greenery necklace of his own. When its time for the couple’s exit, you have to leave in style. The classic red Mustang from Callans Classics was the perfect pop of color needed to bring the shoot together in the end.

It’s all in the details // The handmade record wedding invitations by Elise Harris added a retro twist to this bohemian styled shoot. Starland Yard provided a variety of trendy backdrops created by local Savannah artists, including the one below by Juliana Lupacchino.
How adorable is that cake by Wicked Cakes of Savannah?! The color palette and the design elements perfectly emulated the mural in the backdrop, giving it a western boho feel with the added touches of succulents and greenery.
SISTA SISTA // Haley & Megan are rocking dresses from our bridal shop - the wedding dress being Clementine by Willowby (one of our most popular), and the two piece bridesmaid set which we no longer sell :(
Fête Chalet is the ultimate mobile bar that you NEED at your wedding. A ‘57 camper with 6 taps & not to mention the most unique & creative cocktails. Marguerite made this cotton candy frozen treat just for this styled shoot, and it looks absolutely delicious!
What would a wedding be if you didn’t include your pup? A huge thanks to Alex for letting us use your extremely photogenic chihuahua Louis to help these photos get even more adorable.
Leave your wedding in style, with this classic getaway car from Callans Classics. This pop of red brought the whole shoot together, once again adding a classic retro vibe to the bohemian shoot.
This rainbow arch gave us major cotton candy, floating on a cloud vibe. This ceremony spot is actually a second story space, usually covered with high tops and games like corn hole. The space is completely transformable, making it an all-in-one venue for both the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception.
This styled shoot was an absolute dream to be apart of, and we could not be happier with how it turned out. The opportunity to work with so many amazing wedding vendors is what really made this a fun collaboration. Seeing our work in Hey Wedding Lady is the cherry on top!
