I&B Bride: Morgan
As Ivory & Beau’s resident blogger, I receive the pictures from dozens of weddings a month, and each one is special in its own way. My mind is constantly blown by how creative and wonderful and absolutely head-over-heels in love each I&B couple is, but this wedding, y’all… I don’t know what it is about it, but I was sitting at my desk weeping over how beautiful it was.
I&B bride Morgan made the trip from North Carolina just to visit us, and we’re so glad that she did. We love it when brides are in search of something edgy and different, and Morgan eventually found her match in Yuna by Ti Adora.
Just when we thought this gown couldn’t get any more beautiful, Morgan decided to kick it up a notch by designing her own cape, custom made by Debbie at Gibson Bespoke, UK. Of the cape, Morgan says: “the epaulettes were hand-beaded and the cape was designed to dip in the back to still showcase the gorgeous back detail of the Ti Adora gown!!!”
If you’re wondering about where in the picture-sorting process I started to cry, it was just about here. I love the idea of a first prayer, and these two executed it so beautifully. When Morgan said that her friend and photographer Elli McGuire was a goddess behind the lens, she wasn’t kidding. You can totally feel the joy in these shots.
The rest of Morgan & Allen’s big day was nothing short of a winter wonderland. We can’t stop swooning over all of the gorgeous altar details. From the pink salt candles to the corked glass jars dripping with wax, this romantic decor totally set the tone for the ceremony.
Did I mention that her bridesmaids carried lanterns down the aisle instead of bouquets? How adorable!
It was so hard to narrow down portraits of this precious couple for the blog. My heart skips a beat every time I come across a picture of them laughing! They are enough to make even the most cynical of cynics believe in love again.
Also, these swing pics. Nothing else needs to be said, y’all. Simply. Stunning.
Congratulations, Morgan & Allen! The Ivory & Beau team couldn’t be happier for the two of you.
