SHOP TALK- WEDDING DETAILS

Hey everyone, Hannah the intern here! Today, we're just taking a stroll down memory lane, looking at our past weddings and finding fun and unique details that we think might inspire you for your wedding!

CEREMONY DETAILS

To start us off, we're taking a look at cool ceremony set-ups!

I love this door archway covered in greenery! It reminds me of the Secret Garden and it's a beautiful touch to make your ceremony feel intimate!

Next, we have these fun string lights and flowers hanging down as a ceremony backdrop. It adds a romantic and unique feel with the exposed brick!

Changing the layout of the seating is a sure way to make your wedding unique. Having your seating layout in a circle makes your ceremony so much more intimate and it can allow for a lot of guests to have a better view of you!

Lastly, how cute is this sign?! I've never seen this done before and it's such a cute way to announce your grand entrance down the aisle!

FLORAL DETAILS

Flowers are one of the biggest focal points of any wedding! You can go traditional or wild and crazy with your arrangements. These details, I thought were really fun and unique!

I love this idea of a lantern being a bouquet! It's so original and still really elegant!

To further the lantern idea, these lanterns were used as bridesmaid bouquets. They're so cute and romantic!

If you're a bride who loves color, this bouquet should be speaking to you right about now! How fun is this? It's so colorful and playful! I love how all the colors stand out on their own but all work together!

Orange is one of the most underrated colors used in weddings and this bouquet should make everyone an orange lover themselves! The use of the darker oranges, lighter oranges with touches of greenery and dark purple look so beautiful all together!

DECOR DETAILS

Decor is what really ties the theme or inspiration all together! These were some of my favorite decor ideas I came across!

This lace hoop backdrop is a show stopper for sure! It's so cool, unique, fun and bad-ass!

This candle feature is so edgy and different! Having this around your venue would definitely be a statement!

Paper Pinwheels, ya'll. Need I say more? An wall covered in paper pinwheels is so quirky, cute, fun and adds so much personality to a venue space!

If you're looking to have quirky and fun all over your venue, this is the inspiration you need! Adding color, flowers, candles and vintage elements can really take your venue and theme to the next level.

FUN FAVORS

Personally, I love favors that can last for a long time. Don't get me wrong, favors are always great to take home-especially if that favor is some kind of chocolate, candy, praline, honestly any dessert ever.

This mug favor is honestly the coolest ever. I want like five of them! Your guest will be sure to remember your wedding for years to come!

How cute is this little cactus favor? When your guest take these home they're going to have a really cute decorative plant that will also serve as a fun memory from your wedding!

If you're anything like me, beer is always number one. Bringing home a koozie would be an awesome favor! Every time your guests crack a cold one with the boys (or gals), they'll remember how kick-ass your wedding was.

RECEPTION DETAILS

Reception details can be all sorts of things! It can include fun dances, cool activities for guest or unique ways to set your reception in general! These were some interesting reception ideas that I came across!

First, we have a Polaroid station where guest can take Polaroid cameras and take fun pics through out the night! This is such a cute idea to use as a secondary guestbook that you can remember for the years to come!

This wedding included an Hora Loca! Which is a super cool cultural tradition where they have a ton of props and super fun dancing for an entire hour!

I have never seen this done before, but how cool is this idea? Tote bags as escort cards! Your guest have personalized bags that they can take with them and always remember your wedding with! Probably one of my favorite ideas ever!

FOOD & DRINK

If you know anything about me, it should come as no surprise that I had six food details that were my favorite. I love yummy food and drinks and when it comes to weddings, it's probably everyone's favorite part.

Adding cute decor like fun little robots or glamorous cake stands can take the details of your wedding to the next level!

Or the fun can come from what you're serving! I love a good signature drink and I love this couple's idea of doing a Moscow Mule! They're so yummy and they come in the coolest cups.

Last but not least, FOOD! These ideas are my favorite! First- doughnuts. Any wedding that serves doughnuts is a wedding I want to be at. Second- popcorn. Popcorn is hands down, one of the best snacks ever and having a popcorn bar is a sure way to make all your guests happy! Third- biscuits. Anything bad in this world can be fixed with bread- especially with biscuits. Having a biscuit bar at your wedding is not only unique but yummmm-y!

Thanks for reading! Hope you got some fun inspiration that you could incorporate into your wedding!!
