IN THE PRESS: Magnolia Rouge - Southwest Influence

What do you do when you have a trip planned to Austin, Texas and you are in love with anything southwestern? Plan a styled shoot of course... and that's exactly what we did last summer. It's amazing how connected the wedding industry really is. Within minutes after posting on Making Things Happen's Facebook page I was able to find a wedding photographer located in Austin, TX who was interested in collaborating on a shoot with us. And honestly I don't think I could have gotten more lucky... Shalyn Nelson is not only a seriously talented wedding photographer but is one of the bubbliest, sweetest and inspirational women I have met. My only regret is not getting to spend more time getting to know her but our trip and time in Austin was so limited so I'll have to wait until next time our path's cross (or she comes to Savannah...) 

Once we got Shalyn on board we started reaching out to other wedding vendors in the area and were able to find an amazing group of people who were willing to spend a few hours out of their weekday to work with some unknowns out of Savannah, GA and it was amazing, sweaty, hot, fabulous, wonderful and so worth it in the end because our work came together and created a beautiful bridal shoot with southwest influences at Barr Mansion that was featured on Magnolia Rouge with one of our Blush by Hayley Paige dresses. <<Click the link to see all the prettiness from the shoot!!
