THE EXPERIENCE

We are not your traditional wedding planners but rather are a laid-back yet hardworking team that knows how to get the job done while making the process easy and fun. We pride ourselves on speedy response times and our goal is to reply to all e-mails within 48 hours during business hours. We love being creative and work well with couples who also are open to new and unique ideas. We are a team of 4 - head over to our About Us to read more about the ladies behind the scenes. All packages include coordination of the rehearsal run-through. On your wedding day our packages include one lead coordinator with an assistant at all times. We work very behind-the-scenes and are not an in-your-face type of planner. We are accessible at all times during the day; however, we do our best not to interrupt or disrupt you, your bridal party or guests unless absolutely necessary. We direct and oversee the timeline and coordinate with vendors to ensure the event runs smoothly. We lead guests politely from location to location. We are there from start to finish to setup all details, oversee vendor arrivals and after the conclusion of the event we pack up your inventory to be returned to you. Our day-of attire is business casual mostly black and all we ask is that we get a hot warm dinner during the event, but other than that we do not take any other breaks. No matter the color palette, the theme, the style we love it all and look forward to getting the chance to be a part of your big day!!

RIGHT ON TARGET [month-of]:

When hiring us for our Right on Target package we do the bulk of our contact and work with you towards the end of the planning; however, we are available when needed throughout for random questions and vendor referrals as needed. A month before the wedding we obtain all the necessary information we need from you to put together a detailed day-of timeline/production schedule using worksheets we have created to make this an easy and quick process. The production schedule includes: timeline color coded by vendor, vendor contact list, inventory list, layout, ceremony processional details and more. This package is perfect for the couple who wants to plan every last detail themselves; however, knows that on the day of the last thing they want their friends and family to be doing is setting up and managing their wedding day. We ensure that you, your bridal party and guests can simply enjoy the day without having to worry about the little details. We have worked with couples who know exactly how they want everything set up and send us diagrams and we have worked with couples who want us to use our design skills and judgment to set up their inventory. We are open and flexible and want to make the process as easy as can be.

FULL PLANNING:

When hiring us for our Bow + Arrow package we are with you from the first stages of planning to the end of your event. We are your consultant as well as the liaison between you and all wedding vendors. We have a very collaborative process. We do not boss you around, we do not tell you what to do, we believe the planning process should be collaborative because it is your wedding not ours. When hiring Ivory & Beau as a team you are hiring our entire team to help plan the details of your wedding. We provide recommendations that we think will be best for your vision and your budget but in the end we give you the final decision.

We use an online collaborative program to organize every detail of your event and upon hiring us we dive right in - first with your budget and vision. We enter the recommended amounts for each vendor based on your overall budget and our knowledge of local vendor prices into the program's Budget Tracker. From there we work with you to find the perfect venue that fits your vision and price point. Once your wedding date is set we then work on finding the vendors who will take up larger portions of your budget as well as vendors who we know book up faster than others, such as: photographer, caterer, hair & makeup artist and officiant. We have worked with many vendors in the Savannah area and know who we can trust, who will do the best job and not just that but also who you can afford and who you will like and will fit in your vision. We have tried the foods, we have tasted the cake, we have seen the hair & makeup that some do and we are able to quickly and easily send you in the right direction. We send referrals and pricing information your way and once you find one you are interested in we then contact vendors to schedule consultations then get proposals and contracts so that we can send back to you. We work with the vendor from the beginning stages of obtaining a quote to the end stages of ensuring that payments have been received and contracts have been signed. We have checklists to make sure we are on track and no to-do item is overlooked. Our program is transparent in that it allows you to easily see the progress of the wedding planning and to see what we are working on for you. This package is perfect for destination wedding couples as well as busy couples who just want somebody to take the reins for their simple wedding.

In addition, all services in the Right on Target package are included. We help with the timeline preparation, confirming vendor details before the wedding, creating effective layouts and day-of management to ensure the wedding day runs smoothly so that you, your family and friends can relax and enjoy the wedding without having to be put to work.

TESTIMONIALS

"In terms of planning: I was the first wedding in my family, so to say that we were newbies or unaware of the task of planning a wedding is a bit of an understatement. I am SO glad we had Nicole and Adrienna, because I had no idea how much work it would be to coordinate a wedding. Ivory and Beau gave us a nice timeline of things to do, which was a great help since we had no idea where to start. Once Ivory and Beau had an idea of what we envisioned fro the wedding, they made several vendor suggestions for rentals, officiants, and event spaces. We ended up using someone they recommended for all of our vendor choices because they had really great recommendations.  I was an out of town bride, but I did have the chance to meet with Nicole and Adrienna fairly frequently. We had a lot of contact through email, and that is how I communicated pictures of things I liked. They are pretty active on all forms of social media too. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were very quick to respond to any questions I had, and they also dealt with my mother fairly frequently.  About a month before the wedding, we had our final meeting where we decided the timeline of the wedding day. This was so great because I knew at that point we were pretty much done with planning, and everything was streamlined and ready for the big day. I can't  tell you how much this decreased the overall stress level of my immediate family and now-husband. Remember how I said we were all newbies? Well Ivory and Beau mentioned things throughout the planning process that I had never thought of, and especially during the hour-by-hour planning of the wedding day (like our grand entrance, first dance, cake eating, and grand exit).  Ivory and Beau helped us plan all of that out, and the timing of events was perfect.  Now to the actual wedding day: All of the planning on behalf of Ivory and Beau made our wedding event amazing. Not only did everything turn out beautiful, but we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. Everything was in place and taken care of, and this allowed us to really enjoy our moment. Ivory and Beau coordinated with our band so that they announced when all of our events would occur (grand entrance, first dance, cake eating, etc.). This allowed my husband and I the freedom to float around our reception and enjoy everything without having to worry about what we were supposed to be doing. We actually talked to people, ate the food, and danced the night away (and my grandmother always told me you never get to eat at your own wedding). Nicole was the coordinator at our reception and she was invisible for the most part. But she kept every single votive lit for the entire 4-5 hours of our reception, and made sure the event was running smoothly.  Flower arrangements: I felt very comfortable with Nicole and Adrienna's creative magic throughout all of my dealings with them. I sent them probably 6 pictures of things that we liked for bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower arrangements at the reception and maybe 1 or 2 things we absolutely hated. We also provided many details of our own like small vases and wood. From that, they sent a flower quote that included pictures of the types of flowers to be included and a written description of the centerpieces. Pretty much after the quote, the next time we even though about the flowers was when we actually saw them on our wedding day. All of the table centerpieces were beautiful and so perfect. We had two larger tables that had the most amazing suspended centerpieces. People still talk about those.  Overall: My family and I LOVE Nicole and Adrienna. They did such an amazing job on our wedding. My sister recently bought her wedding dress at their boutique (which is AMAZING). I also love the fact they they are both female entrepreneurs, and they have internships with SCAD students. I recommend them without any reservations. Happy Planning!" -Kathleen > see their wedding.

"Ivory and Beau was my wedding planner for my May 3rd wedding and I am SO happy that we chose them. I worked with Nicole for about year and a half while we planned every little detail of my wedding day. Long story short, this wedding would have never come together if it had not been for all of her hard work and her dedication to making my wedding day special. I was planning my Savannah wedding from California so I had to rely on Nicole for just about everything. She set up appointments for me, skyped with me, responded to emails right away, met with vendors on my behalf and gave me recommendations for the best vendors in town. There is not a single thing that I needed that she did not take care of or figure out for me. I had lots of questions and she had great answers and great insight to help. And if she didn't have answers right away, she would find them. Unfortunately I bought my wedding dress before I&B opened their amazing bridal boutique but I did use their seamstress for alterations. She was amazing and helped to make my dress exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Ivory and Beau for their wedding planning services. They are absolute professionals and you will not be disappointed with their incredible service!" -Elizabeth > see their wedding.

"We will be forever appreciative for everything the Ivory and Beau team did to make our wedding day nothing short of spectacular! We had a 75-guest destination wedding at Savannah's Charles Morris Center in March, and we hired this talented team for day-of wedding coordination and florals. The day-of wedding coordination went beyond that scope, and this fantastically networked team helped connect us with the majority of our wedding vendors based on the budget we set up for each. Every vendor they recommended did a flawless job, and it made the wedding planning process all the easier by eliminating the need to research and interview countless vendors to find the most reputable one. They helped execute our vision for the ceremony décor by giving advice on what we could do, but were also very open to recreating ideas we pulled from websites and Pinterest, even those ideas they’d never tried before! I would say their most creative DIY trick was the hanging wall of lanterns they created as a backdrop for our wedding ceremony – just perfect in every way and practical, as they were able to repurpose the lanterns as centerpieces for our reception tables. When the weather took a turn for the worst the day before our wedding, they helped us regroup and pulled together a back-up plan to move our outdoor ceremony under the same enclosed tent space where our cocktail hour was scheduled. They orchestrated every detail of our wedding day with such effortless precision, we never had to think about a single detail on our wedding day and could fully live in every moment of our big day! It was one of the best financial investments we made toward our wedding, and we would recommend the Ivory and Beau team to any bride for both wedding coordination and floral needs." -Krista > see their wedding.

"I initially hired Nicole to be my wedding coordinator. She suggested some amazing vendors and was quick to set up meetings for me! She really helped put everything together just the way I wanted. On my wedding day, she was there to ensure everything was set up properly and kept everything running smoothly so I did not have to worry about anything but enjoying the day! I honestly do not know how I would have put everything together without her!! Once Nicole and Adrienna opened up the boutique, I also used them to find my dress. I was looking for something simple, beautiful, and blue. Adrienna helped me find my dress, and when I decided which gown I loved, she made a phone call to the designer and had a quote and images of color swatches for the custom color within 5 minutes!! I also purchased my veil and a sash the same day. I later came back to work with one of their local designers to create a custom bow to wear after I took my veil off. I had a wonderful experience with these ladies. They are fun, easy to work with, and have connections to so many amazing vendors in the area!" -Tiffany > see their wedding.

I used Ivory and Beau (formally Simply Savannah Events) for full service wedding planning for my April Wedding. Unfortunately, I had already bought my dress by the time the shop opened so I couldn't get it from her :( Nicole was amazing at helping me plan every detail of our travel/vintaged themed wedding from NY. She helped me to find all of my vendors and attended tastings/meetings with us when we visited. She was always very responsive and helped to answer questions. The day of the wedding went very smooth! She made sure everything arrived on time and that everything was set up beautifully. Her assistant was also wonderful on the day of! She also helped me to find my dream hair piece at her shop (by twigs and honey.) It was perfect! I would definitely recommend Ivory and Beau if you are looking to have a unique and fun wedding! -Shannon > see their wedding.
