Ivory & Beau Bride: Jordan
One word…WOW!
Our stunning bride Jordan recently sent us her Wedding Gallery from her photographer Allison Russo-Alesi, and our jaws instantly hit the floor! Jordan looks absolutely radiant in Selena by Maggie Sottero, and you can tell by the look on her face that she was feeling euphoric on her big day.
When Jordan came to visit us back in February of 2023, she knew she loved Made With Love bridal gowns before coming in, but was open to trying on anything! As she mentioned herself, she was nervous about trying on bridal gowns for the first time, but our Bridal Stylist expert, Holly Holcomb, put her to ease! During her appointment, as she tried on various dresses, Holly helped narrow down what she liked, and picked out a dress Jordan passed by herself, a simple but classic strapless design by Maggie Sottero called Selena.
Selena is a true romantics dream, a classic a-line gown made from Huron mikado - an elegant bridal fabric made of blended silk with a shiny finish and thicker structure. She truly is a crown jewel of a dress design, and can be accessorized in many ways with its simple yet stunning design. You can add a touch of glitz and glam with a belt, add some dramatic sleeves, or leave her as is, either way she’ll take your breath away!
Once she tried Selena on, she of course just had to say YES to the dress! We were over the moon when Jordan found her dream dress here at Ivory & Beau!
Here’s what she said about her bridal appointment: “I had the best experience at Ivory and Beau! I found the dress of my dreams and my consultant Holly was amazing! She did a great job taking notes of different elements that I liked of the dresses I was trying on which led to her pulling THE dress which was something I probably would not have picked for myself. I was very nervous about dress shopping but she made the process so fun and enjoyable. The environment was wonderful and I am so glad I decided to go there!”
Fast forward to October, 2023, and Jordan & Zac’s big day finally came around! Their wedding photos are truly heartwarming to look through, as you can see how much love they have for each other and how much love they were surrounded by from their friends and family.
The lovely moments when Jordan’s mom is helping her get into the dress, and the reactions of the bridesmaids when they saw Jordan in her dress… it’s priceless! Get yourself a group of ladies who look at you like they all look at Jordan! 🥺
The sweet moments shared alone before the ceremony when Jordan & Zac meet for the first time and exchange their letters to one another.
Now onto the moment that went VIRAL, when her sweet 90 year old Grandfather sang Elvis Presley ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ as Jordan walked down the aisle… no we’re not crying… YOU’RE CRYING!! 😭😭 Jordan told us that the moment was captured by her Content Creator Sabrina Bouie (@momentsbysabrina_) and went viral on TikTok with over 38 MILLION views to date!! It was even picked up by The Today Show and they were interviewed on ABC News! Hey Jordan, can we get your autograph girl?! We simply couldn’t leave you hanging, so here’s the super cute video here! Just be ready with tissues in hand…
The wedding took place at Quinney Oaks, a plantation built in the 1920’s, located in Millen, Georgia, which is situated between Augusta and Savannah, GA! The outdoor garden ceremony was held in their picturesque lawn, before moving to the reception at the courtyard which sits beneath the canopy of large beautiful oak trees, and surrounded by string lights.
Jordan and Zac opted to have their florals at a minimum, as the venue is already so naturally beautiful, which were created by Sylvania Florist. Quinney Oaks also catered the wedding, where Jordan & Zac’s number one request was for Shrimp & Grits at the cocktail hour! The main dinner menu was comprised of beef brisket and glazed bacon-wrapped chicken with all the sides… BRB away to wipe our drool! As for their dessert table, Bottom Line Bakery made their wedding cake as well as assorted mini-desserts! YUM!
