Signature Cocktails for Every Season!

If you’ve read up on our predictions for this year’s hottest wedding trends, then it comes as no surprise that 2018 is the year of the epic wedding bash. More and more often, we find that I&B couples are embracing the celebration… and what better way to round out a party than with a signature cocktail?

We’ve got you covered with four of our favorite cocktail recipes-- one for each season-- and one mocktail suggestion for those occasions where no alcohol is necessary!

Winter: THE RESOLUTION

One of our favorite winter spices? Rosemary! Gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, and rosemary come together to create a refreshing wintry cocktail.

Created by Steve Muntean of Harding's, NYC, we could picture wedding guests sipping this signature drink surrounded by the rustic brick walls and twinkling lights at the Morris Center... couldn't you?

Spring: THE BRIDAL SHOWER

Aptly named the Bridal Shower, this cocktail blew straight out of the Windy City to sweeten up a springtime wedding.

Vodka, campari, bitters, and lemon juice are accented with a splash of rhubarb syrup. Serve this cocktail at a Ships of the Sea Garden party just like the one we hosted for our mini shoot with our darling photographer friend Danielle George!

We love the idea of mismatched glassware, too... what a cost effective way to keep things fresh.

Summer: TEQUILA HONEYSUCKLE

Honeysuckle may as well be the official scent of a southern summer, so serve up a cocktail that pays homage to this sweetest of summer blooms.

Shaken with ice, lime juice, raw honey syrup, and a smooth tequila of your choice, the Tequila Honeysuckle is a surefire way to beat the Georgia heat... not to mention get loose for a little late-night dancing action!

Fall: CARAMEL APPLE MULE

Autumn festival, anyone? Let's be honest... we'd get cozy with this caramel apple mule any time of year, but how perfect is this cocktail for a fall wedding? I'm afraid there's no pumpkin involved... sorry pumpkin spice lovers, but this blogger just can't get down with the 'kin.

Topped with ginger beer, a combination of vodka, caramel syrup, and a dash of apple cider makes this signature drink the perfect choice for those seeking something a little tart to go with their scarves and boots.

The Bonus Mocktail: ROSEMARY BLUEBERRY SMASH

Whether you'd prefer to have an alcohol-free reception or you'd like to treat some your younger guests, this smashing (pun intended) mocktail is a must-serve.

A touch of sparkling water or club soda, as well as some lemon juice, honey syrup, and muddled blueberries makes for a drink as summery as it is beautiful. Serve in a decorative punch bowl and add some (edible!) flower garnish for an added wow-factor!
