I + B DRESSES: Blush by Hayley Paige + Hannah Lane Photography
We are so excited to share our first ever feature in Southern Weddings! This blog is everything a southern girl dreams of for her wedding, and we are so honored to be part of it! This shoot was inspired by dogwood blossoms, soft pink, and a hint of rose gold (the hottest metallic of 2016!) For the gown, photographer Hannah Lane wanting something new and trendy, and loved the idea of a convertible gown, with a touch of blush. We had the PERFECT gown for her! Candi by Blush by Hayley Paige is not only a convertible gown, but the tulle overlay has soft blush in it! The underlay is a fitted lace gown, with a fun geometric pattern. The overlay are cascading layers of cherry blossom pink tulle, with a fitted corset and tulle ruched top. In other words, it's exactly what Hannah wanted! We paired it with a rose gold sash by Marisol Aparicio for that touch of blush metallic she was going for. Add a bouquet of dogwood blossoms and some fun tulle skirts, and you have the perfect spring shoot! Dogwood flowers were used throughout the shoot, in so many gorgeous ways! They were used for the centerpieces and chair flowers, as well as throughout the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. A few were even added to the cake! They also used accents of blush throughout, and we are pretty obsessed with the South Carolina chair signs (I want one in the shape of Ohio!)
We love a navy suit on a groom. It makes him stand out (especially when you have groomsmen in another color) and looks so good in photos. And with a blush wedding dress? Yes please! And we love his simple bout with the signature dogwood blossom. And the bridesmaids were so cute! We love a tulle skirt with mix and match tops. It allows your girls to be unique and wear a top that fits them the best, while still keeping it uniform. Plus the skirt is totally re-wearable! You can wear it out with the girls or on a date night! We hope this tulle skirt/top combo becomes a trend!
