{100 Layer Cake} Mid-century Modern Home Wedding Inspiratio
I love all things mid-century modern. The style of everything is just so perfect. I love it all and after moving in with my boyfriend I am inspired by all things mid-century modern for our home. The clean retro feel with lots of neutrals and pops of bold colors. This shoot styled by Andrea of Gray Harper Event Maker is seriously perfect and encompasses the design styles so amazingly. So we were beyond thrilled when she asked us to borrow a dress for the shoot, so much so that we sent her with two, one by Anna Campbell & one by Blush by Hayley Paige, for Mackensey Alexander to photograph the model in. So first things first, if you have ever driven down Abercorn in Savannah you have probably noticed this mid-century modern extravaganza home. It is maybe one of the most badass modern homes I have ever seen and the inside is just as incredible. If only the home were actually available for weddings.... Lady Katherine Taylor, the model, looked absolutely stunning in our Vienna by Blush by Hayley Paige Gown. The seductive style with it's low-cut front, slit and the simple touch of sparkle in the back fit so perfectly with the mood and style of the shoot. She looked so fabulous.
I love the pretty florals by Gray Harper Event Maker with the bold ferns and the bright pops of color. Everything fit so perfectly with the theme and the interior of the private home. The invitation suite is by Samantha Sanford Design and featured the same bold colors with a fun fern pattern. The bridesmaids wore Banana Republic.
The second dress Lady Katherine modeled was our Adelaide by Anna Campbell gown. The sparkly glamorous dress is handmade in Australia and features the prettiest beading and sparkle. A simple silhouette but with a statement top was perfect for the mid-century modern look of everything as well.
Okay but seriously, how amazing is this house? And I want this light fixture in my house...
