I feel like I've said this before but it's just hard not to... our brides are so stylish and seriously fabulous. And Courtney & John's wedding is an example of just that, which is why their awesome Woodland Fall Wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake! Courtney bought her dress with us last year when she said yes to one of our lacy handmade wedding dresses by Portland, Oregon designer Lena Medoyeff. I am beyond obsessed with the florals by Urban Poppy - from the stunning textured bouquet to the woodland mossy centerpiece with antlers to the greenery garland hung from the fireplace that all together created their woodland fall wedding in the Wine Cellar at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. Kati Rosado photographed every last detail and some of our favorite ladies over at Design Studio South coordinated their wedding. To see the entire feature head over to 100 Layer Cake and to see some of our favorite pictures from the feature & for all vendors scroll down!

Lena Medoyeff's Kristin gown was perfect for Courtney's vision for their wedding day. A sleek and slinky elegant yet boho gown with 3-d applique floral lace fit their fall theme and with its comfortable fit it was classic yet not too over-the-top for the intimate wedding, plus it fit so perfectly with that amazing statement bridal bouquet. The groom was dressed to impress as well. I can still remember Adrienna & I saying how classy and stylish he was dressed in his suit from Hallenstein Bro's. The color of that suit was seriously on point and worked so well with Courtney's dress and florals.

One of my favorite things about reading the 100 Layer Cake post was getting a little more insight into their wedding. With brides who just purchase gowns with us we are usually stop one, and we of course get a little bit of the back-story and insight into their planning and wedding day vision but seeing it all come together is always the best part. The cutest thing to me was that for their vows they did a reading from "I Like You" by Sandol Stoddard Warburg, which until 5 minutes ago I had no idea what that was but now I am so happy I do because it is maybe the cutest most adorable thing ever. You can read it here. and of course you know I just read it all to Adrienna and we giggled and laughed and had so much fun. Obviously it had to be done.

To see Courtney & John's entire wedding head over to 100 Layer Cake! And huge congratulations to the happy couple!!!! x, n
